በደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል በደቡብ ኦሞ ዞን ውስጥ በሬክተር ስኬል 4.8 ሆኖ የተመዘገበ የመሬት መንቀጥቀጥ መከሰቱን የአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርስቲ የጂኦፊዚክስ፣ ህዋ ሳይንስና አስትሮኖሚ ኢንስቲትዩት አስታውቋል።

የመሬት መንቀጥቀጡ ትናንት ከሌሊቱ 6 ሰዓት ከ36 ደቂቃ ላይ ነው የተከሰተው።

ክስተቱ በደቡባዊ የኢትዮጵያ ክፍል " ወይጦ ድልድይ ፖሊስ ጣቢያ " አካባቢ መከሰቱን ጠቁሟል።

ኢንስቲትዩቱ ይህ መጠን (4.8) ዝቅተኛም ሆነ ከፍተኛ የሚባል እንዳልሆነና " መካከለኛ " የሚል ደረጃ የሚሰጠው እንደሆነ ገልጿል።

የሚያስከትለው ውድመት እና ጥፋት እንደ አካባቢው ቅርበት እንደሚወሰን ፤ ከተማ ውስጥ ቢፈጠር ብዙ ጉዳት ሊያደርስ እንደሚችል አስረድቷል።

" ወይጦ " የተባለው አካበቢ የሚገኝበት የደቡብ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል ደቡብ ኦሞ ዞን በና ፀማይ ወረዳ ብራይሌ ታዳጊ ከተማ ስራ አስኪያጅ አቶ ኦይታ ኡኖ ትናንት ሌሊት የመሬት መንቀጥቀጥ ማጋጠሙን አረጋግጠዋል።

የመሬት መንቀጥቀጡ በተከታታይ ሁለት ጊዜ መከሰቱን እና ክስተቱም አስደንጋጭ እንደነበር ገልጸዋል።

የደቡብ ኦሞ ዞን ካሉት ስድስት ወረዳዎች እና አንድ የከተማ አስተዳደር ውስጥ በስድስቱ ውስጥ የመሬት መንቀጥቀጥ መከሰቱ አረጋግጧል።

እስካሁም መረጃ በተገኘባቸው መዋቅሮች ጉዳት አልተመዘገበም።

አሪ ዞንም የመሬት መንቀጥቀጡ መሰማቱን የዞኑ የመንግስት አሳውቋል።

ጂንካን ጨምሮ በአራት ወረዳዎች እና 2 የከተማ መስተዳድሮች ክስተቱ ማጋጠሙን አረጋግጧል።

በሁሉም መዋቅሮች የደረሰ ጉዳት እንደሌለ ጠቁሟል።

ባለፈው ሳምንት በደቡብ ምዕራብ ኢትዮጵያ ክልል ዳውሮ ዞን በወረዳ ሁሉም መዋቅሮች 3 ሬክተር ስኬል የመሬት መንቀጥቀጥ አጋጥሞ ነበር።

የትናንትናው የመሬት መንቀጥቀጥም እስከ ዳውሮ ድረስ መሰማቱን ነዋሪዎች ተናግረዋል።
