The sharkfolk of the surface have advanced greatly in technology over the ages, but it is not known how far the Aphotean societies have advanced.

Some believe that their civilization has remained stagnant in time, anchored in immutable traditions. But perhaps we are underestimating them.

The Aphoteans include other species of aphotic sharks that have developed culture, but unlike the sharkfolk from sea surface, they have developed arms but no legs.

This is probably due to the nature of their bodies, which have been shaped by the crushing pressure of the deep.

The existence of the Aphoteans is an enigma. Almost nothing is known about their culture, except for scattered legends and records of ephemeral contacts.

It is only when their monolithic works are stranded on the surface by geological forces that the sharkfolk can get a glimpse of their reality.

After doing some stuff about Roberto, now it's Tiago's turn, Roberto's best tiger shark friend! I hope you like it, I'll try to do two more short animations of him.

Tiago likes geeky stuff, like comics, movies and especially video games! He takes immersion very seriously, and sometimes when there is too much sensory overload, he prefers to enjoy these things in the quiet of the night! ??
