A Lifelong Companion, Not A Seasonal Guest

The month of the Qur’ān is approaching, but why wait until Ramadān to begin?

Let us start now, reciting, reflecting, and living by its guidance, so that when Ramadān arrives, our hearts are already attached to the words of Allāh, not just racing to complete them.

Do we expect to find true peace and salvation when we only open the Qur’ān one month a year?
The Qur’ān was sent as a lifelong companion, not a seasonal guest. Let us not treat it as a ritual for Ramadān, but as the light that guides us every day of our lives.

YAAD DAHANI

"Sehat ek azeem naimat hai, jab tak yeh qaim rehti hai, hum iski qadr nahi karte. Jab bimari aati hai, tab samajh aata hai ke sehat ki kya ahmiyat thi. Isliye, Allah ki di hui sehat ki qadr karo, uska shukar ada karo, aur usko behtareen tareeke se istamaal karo – nafrat aur gham mein nahi, balki neki aur ibadat mein."

➖ Ibn Qayyim (رحمه الله) ne farmaya:
"Sehat aur faraghat do aise inaam hain jo bohot log gava dete hain."
(Sunan al-Tirmidhi, 2304)

Har din Allah se dua karo:
"Allahumma ‘āfini fi badani, Allahumma ‘āfini fi sam‘i, Allahumma ‘āfini fi basari. Lā ilāha illa Anta."
(Ya Allah! Mere jism ko afiyat de, meri sun’ne aur dekhne ki salahiyat ko afiyat de. Tere siwa koi ma’bud nahi.)
(Sunan Abi Dawood, 5090)

Sehat ka shukar ada karna ibadat hai, aur iska behtareen tareeqa yeh hai ke hum isay Allah ki raza ke liye istemal karein.

Shaykh al Fawzaan (حفظه الله تعالى):

**People do not pray and say that the religion is in the heart.

If it were to be in the heart, they would have prayed.**

?Getting Married: Enquire about her beauty first!!!

Imām Ahmad ibn Hanbal (d. 241 AH):

“If a man (intends to) propose to a woman, he should inquire about her beauty first. If he is pleased with her beauty, he should inquire about her religion. If he is pleased, then he should marry her and if he is not pleased, it should be on account of her weak religiosity.

He should not enquire about her religion first and then-once he is pleased-enquire about her beauty, because if he then becomes displeased with her beauty, he will reject her due to her appearance and not on account of her religiousness.”

❄ Winter: the season of the worshipers.

? Ubaid Ibn Umair said: When the winter approached, they (the Salaf) (the pious predecessors) used to say:

❝O people of the Qur'aan!

▶ The night has been elongated for you to pray (with ease).

▶ And the day has been shortened for you to fast (with ease).

So seize the opportunity (for doing more good deeds in this season).❞

• This term is generally used for those who have memorized the Qur’aan.

Allah tests us with the thing our heart yearns for the most. Allah promises ease after every hardship so have faith in Him, He will rescue you from this unimaginable pain

From devil's trick is to turn people away from Tadabbur (pondering upon the) Qur’ān for he knows guidance comes from Tadabbur.

Ibn Al - Qayyim رحمه الله said ;
"Women [wives] are the cause of happiness of the heart that's why they're also called the reason to the happiness of the soul!"
