Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Architect to join our Addis Ababa office. The ideal candidate will be passionate about architectural and interior design that possess strong design skills, and have a keen eye for detail. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to projects that shape the future of our city.

Responsibilities:

-Develop architectural and interior designs from concept through to construction drawings.
-Collaborate with clients, consultants, and project teams to deliver innovative design solutions.
-Produce accurate and detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations.
-Stay current with industry trends, codes, and best practices.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's in Architecture from an accredited institution with a Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in architectural and interior design.
-Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
-Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical proficiency.
-Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
-Knowledge of local building codes and regulations preferred.

The Office Engineer plays a crucial role in supporting construction projects by providing administrative and technical assistance to the project management team. This role involves maintaining project documentation, facilitating communication between on-site personnel and office staff, and ensuring project timelines and specifications are met.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, contracts, permits, and correspondence both electronically and in hard copy

Serve as a liaison between on-site construction teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and office-based staff.

Facilitate communication by relaying instructions, requests, and updates between various project stakeholders.

Assist in the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations.

Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other technical staff to assist in the coordination of material procurement, delivery schedules, and inventory management.

Monitor project costs, expenses, and budget allocations, and report variances to the project management team.

🚧Job Requirements:

✳️Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.

Proven 3 year experience in working in a similar role within the construction industry.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Proficiency in project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes/regulations.
