Дума объявила национальную Марийскую веру экстремизмом?

В Госдуме началась разработка законопроекта о запрете сатанизма в России, его представят в ближайшее время. Об этом сообщил первый замглавы думского комитета по развитию гражданского общества, вопросам общественных и религиозных объединений Николай Бурляев.
28 января патриарх Московский и всея Руси Кирилл призвал признать сатанизм экстремистским движением.

"Это идеология, которая разрушает наше национальное самосознание, а значит, ослабляет наш народ, провоцирует некое разделение в обществе. Причем во имя чего? Во имя поклонения идолам"? – заключил Первосвятитель Патриарх Кирилл.

Как в перспективе будет определяться принадлежность к сатанизму неясно. Будут ли и могут ли национальные обряды и ритуалы быть приравнены к сатанизму тоже неясно. Представители Думы по этому поводу комментарии не давали. Вполне может быть, что если в вашей деревне кто-то решил провести Сурем Ужо, то он будет объявлен сатанистом.

Each year, the beaches become more polluted, with cigarette butts, bottles, and napkins littering the area. Children and pets get cut on broken glass. The situation isn’t improving; in fact, there are no signs of positive change. It’s heartbreaking to watch the cultural decline in our homeland.

In the Republic of Mari El, negative changes in the ecological consciousness of the younger generation are closely tied to Russification, which has significantly influenced their perception of the environment and cultural values. One of the key aspects of this process is the infiltration of Russian mass culture. Unfortunately, a significant portion of this culture is marginal, and it spreads like a cancerous tumor. This culture has altered the mindset of young people, introducing destructive and self-destructive habits into their daily lives.

Russian marginal culture, propagated through media and social networks, actively promotes a lack of self-discipline, disregard for moral and ethical norms, and the uncontrolled consumption of alcohol. As a result, young people have lost their sense of moderation and balance, which was once a part of the traditional Mari way of life. These changes have contributed to the degradation of cultural norms related to respecting nature and one’s home.

Even more concerning is the fact that the new generation has stopped perceiving their republic as their home. If a place doesn’t feel like home, there’s no need to care for it—this attitude is typical of marginal culture, which, unfortunately, has become the norm for many young people. In this context, the forests and lakes of Mari El, which were once sacred and carefully protected, are now seen as mere recreational areas where people can leave trash and not worry about the consequences.

The second reason for this disrespectful behavior is the uncontrolled flow of tourists. One of the main problems is the lack of boundaries and minimal control over the tourist flow, making it almost impossible to track who visits the republic. As a result, it’s difficult to identify the culprits behind the forest fires, which often occur due to the actions of visitors.

There have been numerous instances where tourists from neighboring republics or other regions of Russia, for example, from Orenburg, visited Mari El, and forest fires erupted after their visits. These people, having caused harm to nature, return home without facing any responsibility for their actions. Since there’s no tracking system in place, no one knows who enters and leaves the republic, and therefore, no one will catch the perpetrators.

This situation puts the environment and the local population in an extremely vulnerable and unsafe position. Anyone from different parts of this vast country can come to Mari El, harm the environment, and then leave the region just as easily. This creates not only ecological but also social risks that require immediate attention and the development of effective measures to control tourism and protect the local environment.
