‏عفو بین‌الملل: اسرائیل در حال نسل‌کشی فلسطینیان در غزه است

سازمان عفو بین‌الملل در گزارشی بی‌سابقه و بسیار مهم که امروز منتشر شد، اعلام کرد تحقیقات این سازمان نشان داده است دلایل کافی برای این نتیجه‌گیری وجود دارد که اسرائیل علیه فلسطینیان در نوار غزه اشغالی مرتکب نسل‌کشی شده و این نسل‌کشی همچنان ادامه دارد.
گزارش «احساس می‌کنید که مادون انسان هستید؛ نسل‌کشی فلسطینیان در غزه به دست اسرائیل»، این‌که چه‌گونه اسرائیل طی حملۀ نظامی خود به غزه، که پس از حملات مرگبار به جنوب اسرائیل در ۷ اکتبر ۲۰۲۳ به رهبری حماس آغاز شد، جهنم و ویرانی را به شکلی بی‌شرمانه، مداوم و با مصونیت کامل بر فلسطینیان در غزه نازل کرد، مستندسازی کرده است.

نظام حقوق بین‌الملل تصدیق می‌کند که برای تائید این‌که نسل‌کشی رُخ داده است، لازم نیست عاملان نسل‌کشی در تلاش‌های خود برای نابودی گروه محافظت‌شده، چه به‌طور کامل چه به شکل جزئی، موفق شده باشند. به این ترتیب، ارتکاب اعمال ممنوعه به قصد نابودی گروه مورد هدف برای تائید این‌که اقدام به نسل‌کشی رُخ داده، کافی است.

In these recent days, a profound sense of loss has gripped me as I learned of the passing of a family friend. He was a UN Aid worker, that worked with the Doctors WithoutBorders organization, a man of peace, holding a passport from a developed country—far removed from the world of terror groups or factions like Hamas. It's a reality that is as shocking as it is sorrowful. Out of respect for his family's wishes and due to security concerns, I cannot reveal his name, but his legacy of compassion remains indelible.

It's deeply troubling that the world often overlooks the 40,000 lives brutally extinguished, their deaths minimized because they are Arab, Palestinian, or Muslim. Their worth is seemingly measured by their identity, their right to life overshadowed by prejudice. This war spares none, as Christian families, with ancestral ties to the time of Jesus, have also been erased—an entire lineage demolished in the blink of an eye.

The bitter truth extends further—the IDF has a history of ending the lives of international civilians and press members, a pattern of violence that has been woven into the fabric of this ongoing tragedy. My friend's death is a stark reminder that he is not the first, and sadly, he will not be the last. The cycle of death marches on, and the voices of propagandists grow louder and louder every day.

In closing, let us not forget the four hostages who were meant to be rescued. In the course of that operation, 274 civilians and 41 Israeli hostages were brutally killed. Despite the heavy hearts and the tragic loss of life, we hold onto the hope that the surviving hostages will find their way back to their homes. Their homes in Germany, Poland, Ukraine, and Russia; their homes in Europe.
