????⚡️ The new Ukrainian ambassador to Moldova, Alexei Danilov, former mayor of Lugansk and former advisor to Vladimir Zelensky, is said to be tasked with organising a recruitment campaign for the AFU among the Ukrainian citizens in Moldova.

After the volunteers would officially enlist, they would be sent to Poland for their training after which they will be sent to the frontlines.

Reminder that back in April, a video recorded in the city of Ungheni, Moldova, showed a patrol composed of men in Ukrainian fatigues and policemen walking through a park in the city. An Ukrainian blogger wrote that they were there to scout for "draft dodgers" in a clear violation of the sovereignty of the Republic of Moldova over its own territory.

Danilov is a warhawk, a passionate Ukrainian that will fight to the end to keep Ukraine independent and when Zelensky published the decree naming him as the new ambassador in Chișinău, despite Danilov not being a professional diplomat having had since entering politics in 1990, only held administrative positions in Lugansk and Kiev, independent and pro-Russian analysts in Moldova agreed that Danilov was sent to Moldova as a "threat" towards Transnistria whom Kiev has been wanting to invade and capture the ammo depot at Cobasna (Kolbasna). Some believe Danilov losing his job as an advisor to Zelensky was thanks to Danilov's frequent outbursts at foreign officials, especially being an incident between him and the Chinese ambassador in Kiev, Li Hui, who proposed that Ukraine look to sign a peace deal.

Moldova has been conducting, since the outbreak of the Russo-Ukrainian war, a prudent policy regarding Transnistria. Politicians in Chișinău are painfully aware of the many weaknesses of their country and as such there was and still is little motivation to make peace with Transnistria, preferring the status-quo, but others, especially Kiev, have been putting a lot of pressure on Moldova to rethink its stance and allow Kiev to take care of Transnistria themselves.

As such, there is no surprise that Moldova has to make some concessions to Kiev to calm their temper and lets its police and military patrol on Moldovan territory looking for draft dodgers and now seemingly preparing to create recruitment centers.

Every single fire mentioned in the tweet is fake.

The Bulrom gas terminal is not in Siret but in Vicșani, a town a few km to the south-west and as far as admin can tell, there has been no explosion or fire at the terminal since the site was first built.

The train carrying ammunition catching on fire, was placed by Rozhin at the marshalling yard in Dornești, Suceava but there has been no such fire at least not since August of 2022 when a locomotive caught fire.

The fire at a warehouse in Slobozia Sucevei is made up, as there has been no such incident in the last few years !!

Lastly, the fire in Slătioara has some truth to it as there has been a fire in the village of Slătioara part of the Râșca commune, Suceava County, on June 23rd, 2024, but it was a fire that broke out in a residence and sadly engulfed a neighbouring house as well destroying both in the process.

For the stability of the energy system in Romania, the Government of Bucharest intends to acquire the enterprise RED-Nord from the Republic of Moldova, so that the energy surplus will be delivered to consumers located in the territory between the Prut and Dniester, through the two interconnections that are currently being built.
