The syllabus for a traditional eight year Sunni basic Aalim course (bachelor's degree).

They don't start studying the six famous books of Ahadith untill their 8th and final year. In this year they study the six books and memorise several sections with their explanations.

This is after seven years of making sure they have mastered:
1. Sarf (Arabic morphology)
2. Nahw (Arabic grammar)
3. Balagha (Rhetoric)
4. Fiqh (Jurisprudence)
5. Usul al Fiqh (Fundamentals of Fiqh)
6. Tafsir (Quranic Exegesis)
7. Usul al Tafsir
8. Hadith
9. Usul al Hadith
10. Aqeedah (Creed)
11. Tasawwuf (Sufism)
12. Mathematics
13. Mantiq (Logic)
14. Philosophy

These are the 14 basic Islamic sciences one has to know, including memorising several books pertaining to those branches of knowledge.For someone to specialise in a field, they have to study even more than the aforementioned disciplines.
Only then you get the necessary ijazah (certificate/qualification/permission) to interpret and transmit a specific subject or text of Islamic knowledge.

So keep that in mind next time someone who doesn't even speak Arabic or has no clue about basic grammar, tries to quote rough translations of Quranic Ayahs and Ahadith to you.
You wouldn't let a non professional (such as random online teens or some obscure forum community) try and diagnose you if you had a disease. You'd go to a qualified and licensed physician. So don't ever let pretenders or internet scholars influence you on matters of religion.

If people simply had respect for Islamic knowledge and learned it properly, Muslim world would be a much better place. Instead every edgy teen thinks they can discard/discredit 1400 years of scholarship and follow their personal whims.
