tips in general （P2）；

语文应用：
- the 4 词语, in general, would have roughly the same meaning. In order to score, you have to detect the nuances of the word. E.g: could this word only be used for describing objects and not humans?, or e.g: which word is of higher intensity?
- then with the above information, deduce the most suitable word in context with the passage.

词语替换：
- from what I’ve seen, most of the answers are actually normal words you should know (like words in general, not in TB). my guess is 1-2 words from the TB.
- hence, I would not spend too much time focusing on memorising all the S1-S4 words

MCQ 理解问答：
- for the question that will inevitably come out (the one on ‘what is the message / main idea / purpose of the passage?’, focus on either the first or last paragraph. The answer is 90%, from there.
- for the other questions in this section, use elimination and try to visualise the context, esp for qns regarding emotion.
- if not, the answers can be found by reading the text more carefully

Written 理解问答：
- for this, it is the method of repetition of TYS and practice papers that works the best (to most ppl I’ve seen).
- for qns such as the “…” 的意思，always remember to provide the context of ‘Who… (did what)…. (Impact)’
- follow a PEEL format for the last 5m qn, using a real life personal example / general example (although this one requires like the name of the individual)
- the first 2-3 questions of both written passages are usually copy - paste answers from the passage, so try not to lose out marks on those
