memories can be daunting when you are left to evaluate and learn from them. you notice how you have allowed yourself to be pushed around. how your inaction and your silence at situations have been met with things being decided for you. how easy it is for others who claim to know you, accuse you of things you didn’t even do because of this altered perception they have of you. and because they have taken this perception as fact, it doesn’t even matter to try at that point. you just realise how easy it could’ve been to remove the hindrances in your life if you just didn’t act impulsively or looked at them through rose coloured glasses. recollecting moments that are tainted by nothing but regret and fury is wearisome. life in general is so damn slow and laborious.
