Pro tips for filling out the ECs section? Just be yourself and show yourself.
Your Extracurricular activities are about discovering, doing, and committing to what you actually love to do. It's not about getting into a college. This logic works both before and whenever you're filling out the Extracurriculars section

1. Not all colleges want the same kind of person. If you end up reflecting someone that is not you because you thought you would have better chances of getting into a college, the chances are you ruined your chances with the university that was the best fit for you as a person. So dont try and make a mountain out of a moll hill and be yourself

2. It's not about what, it's about how. Anyone can solve math problems for fun, what's unique is when you actively start teaching kids at your school how to solve fun but challenging math problems. Think and make broader decisions

3. Keep only meaningful extracurriculars. NOBODY cares about that one time you went to a music camp because your parents forced you. You dont like music and all you did was drink with friends. Don't put it on your ECs list, it makes you look bad.

4. Put the ECs that are harder to explain at the top of the list. Everybody knows what it means if you're a member of the basketball team. Get the AO interested by putting your most meaningful and interesting/complicated Extracurriculars at the top. They are usually the ones with the most weight.

5. Use your space wisely. Use contractions when you can and start using symbols like & for "and" to save space. However do not start shortening every single word in your description just so you can write more. You are just proving that you can't sum up information effectively and confuse everyone by writing that you were " participant @ conf. in national Uzb tourn. 4 ⚽"
