Marieha Hussain, 37, of High Wycombe, has been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence after she held up a placard comparing Rishi Sunak and Suella Braverman to coconuts at a pro-Palestinian protest in London.

Ms Hussain was arrested after police posted a photograph in November on social media of her and said she was being sought in relation to a hate crime.

Ms Hussain was charged by postal requisition and is due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on June 26.

BREAKING: King David Primary School has sent a letter to parents following Muslim upset over the Jewish school's celebration of Yom HaAtzmaut (Israel's birthday).

The letter admits the school has a religious "connection" to Israel and that the leadership ruled against Muslim requests to cancel Yom HaAtzmaut celebrations despite the sadness caused by the loss of life in the Gaza war.

5Pillars was told that many Muslim kids were kept home to avoid participating in Israel's birthday celebrations.

ISRAEL CARPET BOMBS JABALIA REFUGEE CAMP

Extraordinary live footage of Israeli carpet bombing the Jabalia refugee camp in Gaza today.

The Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, says that it attacked five Israeli tanks in the camp in the northern Gaza Strip.

They added that they also clashed with a group of Israeli soldiers, killing and wounding them.

Meanwhile, Israel has been constantly shelling residential neighbourhoods in Jabalia over the last several hours.
