According to Sahih Ahadith you could fast the 9th and 10th or just the 10th:

Shaykh Sulayman Ibn Nasir al-Alwaan stated:

“What is confirmed from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, is that He fasted Ashura. And from the time that he came to Madinah he singled out Ashura until Allāh عز و جل took his soul.

And right before his death he said, and the narration is in Muslim:

If I remain until the next year, I will fast the ninth. And he didn't remain until the next.

And Abdur-Razzaq narrated in “al-Musannaf” with an authentic chain:

Fast the ninth and the tenth.

The best level of Ashura is the ninth and tenth. Then it's followed by the tenth alone without any karahah (dislike).

As for those who have said that the levels of Ashura are three, they mentioned the eleventh, then there's no evidence for that.

As for the narration given in al-Musnad.

Fast the day of Ashura and be different from the Jews in it, and fast a day before it or a day after it. This is a Munkar narration, it was narrated by Muhammad ibn Abdir-Rahman ibn Abi-Layla alone.

Abu Shu'bah said about him:
“I never saw anyone with a worse memory than him. And there's nearly an agreement about him being weak.
Consequently, the levels of Ashura are two levels; the ninth and the tenth, or the tenth alone.

End of Shaykh Sulayman's words.

Ibn Rajab al-Ḥanbalī رحمه الله said:

Man! Were you to go to the door of the governor, he would not receive you or give you any attention, perhaps he will even prevent you from getting near him.

But the King of Kings is saying, ‘Whoever comes to Me walking, I will go to him running,’ yet you turn away from Him and run after another! You have been cheated in the worst of manners and you have lost out in the severest of ways!

?QUESTION: What is the distance that one is allowed to pass in front of a person who is praying?

?Shaikh Muhammad Ibn Saaleh al-Uthaymeen رحمه الله replied:

?❝The distance that is prohibited to cross in front of the one who is praying are as follows:

?1. If he is praying behind a Sutrah (screeen or barrier like a pillar or wall), then the distance between him and the Sutrah is forbidden. It is not allowed for anyone to pass through them.

?2. If there is no Sutrah, but there is a specified praying place, like he is praying on a prayer rug, then this prayer rug should be respected. It is not allowed for anyone to walk over this prayer rug that he is praying on.

?3. But if there is no specified praying place (i.e. no Sutrah or prayer rug), then the distance between his feet and the place of his prostration (i.e. where he rests his head in Sujood) is prohibited. No one should pass through them.❞

Look at Ibrahim’s gentleness:

Oh my father, why do you worship something that can’t hear, nor see, nor help you at all?

Oh my father, I’ve received certain knowledge that you didn’t receive. Follow me, and I’ll guide you to a straight path.

He didn’t say: Oh father you’re jahil.

Instead, he said that he’s received knowledge which his father hasn’t received!

It was narrated that ʿAlī said: I was a man who emitted a great deal of maḏī (ie: prostatic fluid),

So I asked a man to ask the Prophet ﷺ about that because I was too shy to ask him because of being married to his daughter.

So he asked, and he ﷺ said: “Do wuḍūʾ and wash your private part.”

Hadīth

Narrated Anas bin Malik:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) wanted to write to some persian rulers. He was told that they would not read a letter without a seal in the form of a silver ring on which he engraved "Muhammad the Messenger of Allah."

The more successful you are, the more humble you should be.

Don’t try to show your greatness because greatness belongs solely to Allah. Recognise this. Submit to Him and show humility.

You’ll earn closeness to Him and His special Mercy!

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)  said, "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales. and do not look for the others' faults, and do not do spying on one another, and do not practice Najsh, and do not be jealous of one another and do not hate one another, and do not desert (stop talking to) one another. And O, Allah's worshipers! Be brothers!"
