We say ideas spread like wild fire because fire itself is a metaphor for knowledge. Fire is what ultimately gave man power over nature by allowing him to form tools. Fire is illuminating, it conquers the darkness. It is fire that prometheus stole from the gods. Fire gave ancient man protection and warmth, it created a gathering place for him to share memories and ideas with other men.

The book Barbaric Vitalism talks about how fire was one of the first gods and was sacred to ancient man. Each family kept a sacred fire that they kept lit at all times. When Agamemnon retured from the Trojan War the first thing he did was visit his ancestors at his family hearth, before he paid homage to zeus. When a man married he caried his wife before the sacred hearth to perform the rituals.

Fire is within you. Each man is a sacred fire himself. Your will, your energy, youre ideas, are your fire. It is your responsibility to grow and spread this fire

When you can articulate the truth in a digestible way to your friends and family it can spread like wild fire

A lot of good truth has spread in the past 2-4 years

You need to feel responsible as a man to keep spreading that truth no matter what

Note when i say politics i mean it as an overall descriptor of the happenings in society and culture. We are most definitely in a culture war. We were losing badly for a long time but the tide is starting to turn in our favor. We need every able minded able bodied able resourced man alive on board.

I’m really big on the natural fiber thing. You have to chuck all the plastic polyester. It sucks. Natural fibers are better at everything and they feel better too. If you need compression you can get cotton with 5% elastane from pact.

Stop wearing clownish colors. We could argue here but the reality is the only adults you see wearing super bright colors are nigerians, beaners, and marvel fans.

One thing i find interesting about the martial arts is that you can improve simply by watching them. Observing is training.

In a couple of weeks I'm heading to watch ADCC for the 3rd time in a row, and every time I go spectate my game improves without fail.
