There are so many developments in today's chaotic world that it can be difficult to track the mile markers, goal posts, key signs.

What we have in mixed media is 'narrative, narrative, narrative'. But what about reality?

Are there any 'hard reality' tests that we can compare with the narrative?

What about a pair of tents sitting on a hill in Israeli occupied South Lebanon?

Why can't Israel just knock them out with a rocket/missile? Why can't they just send a few platoons, or even a battalion, to do something about it?

Don't misunderstand what we mean here - certainly Israel probably could muster the force to do something about this. That's a question of force concentration at a moment in time. But at what cost? And what trade-off in relation to their other 'operations' underway?

That is the key question.

Interesting times indeed.
