The Day of Arafah — the 9th of Dhul Hijjah — corresponds with this Tuesday 6/27/23. Make the sincere intention to fast that day, Insha’Allah.

Eid will thus be the following day — the 10th of Dhul Hijjah — corresponding with Wednesday 6/28/23.

‎تقبل الله منا ومنكم

Shaykh Sulayman Ibn Al-Ulwaan (حفظه الله) said:

"The prohibition [in the Shari texts] entails something being Haram, and with that the command also entails something being Wajib, so whatever the Messenger ﷺ commands that entails an obligation, even if it is in the chapter of Adaab (Manners) according to the more correct opinion of the Uleema, the prohibition also entails Tahreem even if it is in the area of Adaab according to the more correct opinion of the Uleema, this is because there is no Shari evidences to prove the separation between the Adaab and the Ahkam"

Shaykh Sulayman Ibn Al-Ulwaan (حفظه الله) said:

"Taifah Al-Mansoorah are those who give victory to the Haqq (Deen Al-Islam) with their words and actions, and the affairs of the whole Ummah are constantly revolving in their hearts......"

Shaykh Ahmad Al-Khalidi (حفظه الله) said:

"Verily from the greatest of advice that a brother advises his brothers with is what Allah advised His slaves from the Messengers with, He said in His Wise revelation:

"He (Allah) has ordained for you the same religion (Islam) which He ordained for Nuh (Noah), and that which We have inspired in you (O Muhammad ), and that which We ordained for Ibrahim (Abraham), Musa (Mosesý) and ‘Iesa (Jesus) saying you should establish religion (i.e. to do what it orders you to do practically), and make no divisions in it (religion) (i.e. various sects in religion). Intolerable for the Mushrikun , is that to which you (O Muhammad ) call them. Allah chooses for Himself whom He wills, and guides unto Himself who turns to Him in repentance and in obedience." (Quran 42:13)

And also what the Father of the Hunafaa (People of Tawheed and Baraa from Shirk) and the Imaam of the Muwwahideen advised his sons with as Allah The Most High said:

"And this (submission to Allah, Islam) was enjoined by Ibrahim (Abraham) upon his sons and by Ya’qub (Jacob), (saying), “O my sons! Allah has chosen for you the (true) religion, then die not except in the Faith of Islam (as Muslims – Islamic Monotheism).”" (Quran 2:132)

Shaykh Ali Al-Khudayr (حفظه الله) said:

"The first obligation upon every Mukhalif (Sane, Shari Mature Person) is the fulfillment of the Asl of Al-Islam"

And he also said

"The Asl Deen of Al-Islam is Tawheed (Laa Illah Illaa-Allah) and Risalaah (Muhammad Rasullah)'"

He also said:

"The Salaf of the Ummah have Ijmaa (Consensus) that the first Fard upon a Mukhalif is the Shahadah 'Laa Illah Illaa-Allah and Muhammad Rasullah'"

He also said:

"It is sufficient for a person fulfil this Asl Al-Islam by having Imaan (Knowledge, Acceptance, Belief and Submission) to Tawheed (Laa Illah Illaa-Allah) and Risalaah (Muhammad Rasullah) in an Ijmaali Way (general manner)"

"He also said from the Nawaqid of this Asl is Kufr and it's types, Shirk and it's types and Nifaq and it's types"

Shaykh Sulayman Ibn Al-Ulwaan (حفظه الله) said:

"The A'immah (Leaders) of the Salaf used to encourage their companions to avoid Taqleed (Blind Following), and they used to make it obligatory upon them to take knowledge with evidence, this is because it is an obligation upon all Muslims to follow the evidences of the Shariah when they become clear, and it is also obligatory to leave anything which opposes the evidence"

Shaykh Sultan Al-Utaybi (رحمه الله) said:

"There can be no doubt that turning away from the Shariah of Allah and the absence of making Tahakum (Arbitration) to His Shariah in the daily affairs of the society is from the greatest and most dangerous of errors and is from the greatest manifestations of deviances occuring in Muslim societies."

"Do not get the perception that slander and backbiting is only by tongues and lips. It could be by a wink or a gesture, and it only gets worse on Twitter, Facebook and internet forums. Does that count? Yes that does count. Someone might say but I was disguised by the screen and nobody knew. 

أَلَمۡ يَعۡلَم بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرَىٰ
Knows he not that Allah does see (what he does)? (Surat al-‘Alaq: 14)

يَوۡمَٮِٕذٍ۬ تُعۡرَضُونَ لَا تَخۡفَىٰ مِنكُمۡ خَافِيَةٌ۬
That Day shall you be brought to Judgment, not a secret of you will be hidden. (Surat al-Haaqqah: 18) 

On that Day you shall be exposed to view – no secrets. Now you can keep it a secret, but no secret of yours will remain hidden on that Day.

سَتُكۡتَبُ شَهَـٰدَتُہُمۡ وَيُسۡـَٔلُونَ
Their evidence will be recorded, and they will be questioned! (Surat az-Zukhruf: 19) 

There is no difference between tongue and gesture, and Twitter and Facebook. You will be held accountable for all that."
