The Winters

Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

“In very hot weather delay the Dhuhr prayer till it becomes (a bit) cooler because the severity of heat is from the raging of the Hell-fire.

The Hell-fire of Hell complained to its Lord saying:
O Lord! My parts are eating (destroying) one another.

So Allaah allowed it to take two breaths, one in the winter and the other in the summer.
The breath in the summer is at the time when you feel the severest heat and the breath in the winter is at the time when you feel the severest cold.”

أرسلوا الكثير من الصلوات على النبي ﷺ

Al-Bayhaqi (5994) narrated that Anas said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“Send many blessings upon me on Friday and the nightbefore Friday, for whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send blessings upon him tenfold.”

• Overthinking about the future causes anxiety (Hamm)

• Overthinking about the past causes sorrow (Hazn)

• Overthinking about what other people have causes grief (Ghamm)

• So, live in the present but work for the Aakhirah.

Ali Ibn Abi Talib رضي الله عنه said:

"The world is moving away from us, and the Hereafter is coming closer towards us and each one of them has sons. So, be from the sons of the Hereafter, and do not be from the sons of the world.
For today (is the time) for action and no Judgment; but tomorrow is (only) Judgment and no action."

[Sahih Al-Bukhari—Chapter: Hoping too much (for longer life)]

Both the Dunya and the Aakhirah seek and are sought after. The one who seeks the Aakhirah, the Dunya chases him till his sustenance has been given to him in complete. And as for the seeker of the Dunya, then the Aakhirah chases him till death overtakes him.
Verily! The happy is the one who chooses the everlasting bliss over the ever perishing world.

Abu Qatadah reported: 

The Prophet ﷺ said: 
“Verily, you will never leave anything for the sake of Allah Almighty but that Allah will replace it with something better for you.”

[Musnad Ahmad 23074]

“If you are conscious of Allāh and truly fear Him, be assured that He will grant you a way out of every difficulty.”

The Actual Test of Emaan–A Reality Check

“If you want to see the extent of your emān then see how you are in private.

For indeed emān "does not" show its true extent in two units of prayer or in fasting during the day.

But it shows in striving against your soul and desires.”

"When Tawheed appeared the devils ran away or reduced their appearance but they kept appearing in places where the effect of Tawheed was not seen."

Al-Barbahārī رحمه الله said:

“The foundation upon which the Jamaa'ah is built is the Companions of Muhammad May Allaah's Mercy be upon them all. They are Ahl us-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah, so whoever does not take from them has gone astray and innovated!”
