It's finally cold enough today to wear my new scarf from Loom Woven! It's well made, light weight, but very warm at the same time.

I absolutely adore this pattern! The hidden row of Othala runes just makes it even more meaningful. I will treasure this for many years to come and look forward to be able to gift it to my daughter one day. I highly recommend purchasing one of Sarah's incredible hand woven pieces! ❤️‍🔥

Welcome to my channel!

I weave on a floor loom using natural yarns such as linen, cotton, silk and wool. Some of the yarns are hand-spun on a wheel in the traditional folk method using wool from sheep we raised.

You'll find handwoven shawls, scarves and throws, as well as some rustic woven baskets using materials from nature.

Another passion of mine is dyeing yarns using flowers and herbs, infusing beautiful colors from nature into my work.

My passion was ignited for traditional folk crafts many years ago and I've been on a hiatus doing other types of projects and work for a couple of years. I'm looking forward to offering my pieces once again in the near future as well as sharing the processes with those who are interested.
