?️What?-sparrow-sized birds known for their intricately woven nests-typically inhabit grasslands, cultivated areas, scrub forests, and wetlands-They are often found near water bodies, as they use grass and other vegetation to construct their nests.

?️The males construct the nests-often built on thorny trees like acacias or overhanging branches near water bodies to protect them from predators such as snakes=primarily feed on seeds, grains, and insects-They play an important role in controlling insect populations and are also known to forage in agricultural fields ⚠️⚡️Baya Weavers are important indicators of the health of grassland and wetland ecosystems.
