Trailing Stop in the Beta Version of CScalp

On August 15, 2024, we released the beta version of CScalp with Trailing Stop (TS) available for all cryptocurrency connections.

Trailing Stop is a tool for more flexible risk management. If a long position is open and the trading instrument is rising, TS will "move" the Stop-Loss higher. If a short position is open and the trading instrument is falling, TS will shift the Stop-Loss lower. This helps avoid situations where a position closes with unrealized profits. Additionally, Trailing Stop provides extra protection for your position: the closer the Stop-Loss is to the current market price, the lower the potential loss when closed by the stop order.

You can set the Trailing Stop manually or configure it to be automatically placed along with the Stop-Loss when opening a position. For more details on how TS works, read here.
