The death toll from Israel’s airstrike on Beirut’s southern suburbs has risen to 31, including seven women and three children.

Search and rescue operations are continuing at the site where 23 people are reported missing.

The Friday attack, which also wounded 68, destroyed an eight-story building in a densely populated area. Hezbollah confirmed several of its members were killed, including high-ranking commander Ibrahim Aqil and Ahmed Wahbi.
