Acknowledge Allaah's Mercy, Not Your Deeds
If Allaah saves you from any harm, do not say that it might be because of my Fajr Salaat (prayer) or my Sadaqah (charity) or my adherence to my Adhkaar (remembrances), or my good intentions.
Rather, say: "Allaah saved me by His Mercy".
﴿فلما جاء أمرنا نجينا صالحا والذين آمنوا معه برحمةٍ منا﴾
“And when Our command came, We saved (Prophet) Saleh (Alayhis-Salaam) and those who believed with him by mercy from Us....”
[Surat Hud (11:66)]
The Best Charity: Spending on Your Family
Do not complain about the expenses for your household and children for the Prophet (Salla-Allaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “A dinar which you spend for the sake of Allaah, a dinar which you spend to free a slave, a dinar which you gave in charity to a poor person and a dinar which you spent on your family – the greatest of these in reward is that which you spend on your family.”
(Sahih Muslim no.995)
Ibn Taymiyyah (Rahimahullaah) said,
"Seeking halal (lawful) income and spending on one’s family is a significant virtue that is incomparable to any other act of righteousness."
[Al-Iman Al-Awsat - p.609]
Your Husband is an Amanah
It was narrated from Mu'adh bin Jabal that the Messenger of Allaah (Salla-Allaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: "No woman annoys her husband but his wife among houris (of Paradise) says: 'Do not annoy him, may Allah destroy you, for he is just a temporary guest with you and soon he will leave you and join us."'
[Sunan Ibn Majah 2014]
Would you still trouble him?!
A MOTHER'S ADVICE TO HER DAUGHTER BEFORE MARRIAGE
“Oh my dear daughter, take from me these ten qualities; they will be for you a stored treasure and a reminder:
One: Accompany him with contentment and live with him in a good manner.
Two: Listen to him and obey him.
Third and Fourth: Take care of his eyes and take care of his nose, so do not let him see anything ugly from you and only let him smell pleasant smells from you. Kohl is the best beautification while water is the sweetest of the rare perfumes.
Fifth and Sixth: Pay attention to his meal times and be quiet during his sleep moments, because the heat of hunger is like a burning flame and disturbing his sleep will anger him.
Seventh and Eighth: Take care of his home and his wealth and look over him, his servants, and his children. Protecting his wealth shows good judgement, while watching over his servants and children shows good management.
Ninth and Tenth: Do not expose his secrets and do not disobey his command. If you expose his secrets, he will never feel safe with you, and if you disobey his command, his heart will boil with anger towards you.
***“Beware of showing happiness in front of him when he is sad, and do not express sorrow in front of him when he is happy. In the first scenario, it shows negligence, and the second scenario will cause him sadness.
Show him utmost respect and the utmost honour, and agree with him as much as possible; this will increase your companionship. And know— you will not attain what you love until you prefer his happiness over your happiness and his desires over your desires concerning what you like and dislike. May Allaah grant you what is best.”***

THE FATHER HAS AN INFLUENCE ON HIS CHILD
A child - without a doubt - is influenced by his father, influenced by his behavior, manners, interaction [with people] and religion; he is the most influenced by his father as was said:
**وَ ينْشَأُ نَاشِئُ الْفِتْيَانُ فِينَا عَلَى مَا كَانَ عَوَّدَهُ أَبَوهُ
"A youngster from the youth will grow up amongst us based upon what his father accustomed him to."**

VIDEO GAMES NEGATIVELY AFFECT THE RELIGION
➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
Another way these video games negatively affect the religion of our children is through bad companionship. Before, when a child would go outside to play on a team with his friends, you knew exactly who he was playing with. If there was a bad child among his group, you would tell him to beware of so and so. Today, we have online gaming. You see your son sitting with headphones over his ears. He speaks into a microphone while wearing headphones. Who is he talking to? Do you know who he is talking to? You don't know. The child himself, does not know who he is talking to. Who are they? What is their methodology? What is their religion? What are their tendencies? You don't know. This is dangerous upon your child's religion, methodology, and character.

Adhere to your Specific Clothing
Advice the children that every gender should stick to wearing their specific clothing to be distinguished from the other sex, and to stay away from the clothing of the foreigners (i.e., disbelivers) and their fashions, like tight pants and other than that from harmful norms. It has come in an authentic narration,
"The Prophet (Salla-Allaahu alayhi wa sallam) cursed the men who imitate the women and the women who imitate the men, and cursed the effeminate men and the masculine women."
(Saheeh Bukhari)
And he (Salla-Allaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "And whoever imitates a people, then he is from them."
(Abu Dawud)

O Wife! Your Husband is Your Mirror
O female servant of Allah, your mirror is your husband. Display the beauty that he desires. Be a righteous wife to him. Be pleasant for him with your clothing and the upkeep of your home. It is imperative that you give importance to beautifying the home, beautifying yourself and beautifying your clothing.
Giving importance to tidiness and beautification for the spouse is beneficial. All of this is expected and something good. A husband loves these things, and they are expected from the wife.

Life is Short, Be Intelligent
The intelligent person knows that real life is the life lived in happiness and tranquility, and that this life is very short. Therefore, he should not make it even shorter with anxiety and endless worries. This contradicts a meaningful existence. Let him be tenaciously stingy with his life and not allow large portions of it to be robbed from him by anxieties and worries.
And among the most effective ways to repel depression is to accustom yourself to not expect appreciation except from Allaah. If you treat someone who has a right upon you or no such benevolently, then know that this is due to your good etiquettes with Allaah, so do not worry about being thanked by them.
Allaah said about the best of His creation:
إِنَّمَا نُطْعِمُكُمْ لِوَجْهِ ٱللَّهِ لَا نُرِيدُ مِنكُمْ جَزَآءً وَلَا شُكُورًا
"We feed you only seeking the Face of Allah. We desire not from you reward nor gratitude."
[Surat al-Insan (76:9)]
