أنت لا تفهم الأمر على حقيقته، أنا لا يُخيفني الفشل ولا ضياع الجهود سُدى. لا يعنيني في نهاية الأمر أن لا أُحقق شيئًا، ليس هكذا تُقاس الأشياء عندي! لكن ما يرعبني حقًا اختفاء الرغبة، أن أستيقظ يومًا فأجد هذا الشعور في صدري قد انطفأ، هل تعرف مالذي يعنيه هذا الشعور لشخصٍ مثلي؟ أن يتلاشى وهج الرغبة، وأن أنظر للأشياء حولي ولا أشعر بشيء.. أنا لا يهمني أن يراني الناس كناجحٍ أو فاشل، عالمي بأكملهِ يدور داخل عقلي، معاركي أخوضها في هذا العالم الذي يخصّني وحدي، لكن إن رأيتني يومًا مُنطفئًا كموقد مهجورٍ لا أشعر بشيء، فهذا هو انتهاء الحياة بالنسبة إليّ.
