Nothing is more beautiful than being pulled by Allah's hidayah while on the way to do a wrongdoing.

Imām Mālik: “Whoever wishes that his chest be expanded then let him make his private deeds better than his public deeds.”

“Allah is Forgiving and Merciful”?!

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه ) that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said that his Lord said: «وَعِزَّتِي لَا أَجْمَعُ عَلَى عَبْدِي خَوْفَيْنِ وَأَمْنَيْنَ، وَإِنْ أَخَفْتُهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَمَّنْتُهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ، وَإِنْ أَمَّنْتُهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا أَخَفْتُهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ» **“By My Glory, I will not bring for my servant two times of fear and two times of protection; if he fears Me in this world I will protect him on the Day of Resurrection but if he felt safe from Me in the world I will cause him to fear in the Hereafter.”

Have these people not heard of this hadith? Have they not reflected of its words? Has not their Lord’s oath shaken them? How can they live in world safe, confident in their deeds while doing nothing? yet hope for jannah in the Hereafter?Ibn al-Qayyim says: “The heart on its path to Allah the Almighty is like a bird, where love is its head, and fear and hope are its wings.”** Fear and hope are the wings of a Muslim’s heart, and he cannot fly to reach his goal if he loses one of them.

Hope for forgiveness - which is what motivates the Muslim to continue in the good deeds, so he competes in good deeds and strives to increase in obedience, so his heart is attached to Jannah.

Fear - the other wing - is a lamp that brightens his heart, so if it departs from him, this heart would crumble, and its owner would be lost, and his actions would be corrupted! How can a Muslim today ensure the satisfaction of his Lord and live in this world without fear of his fate in the Hereafter, as if he were certain he is going to attain?

Some people are so confused! Do they think that Allah will forgive their sins when they don’t do any actions for Him to forgive? And in the end they add up «we have good thoughts about Allah ,He will forgive us!» Woe to you! How they lie! If they had good thoughts about Allah they would’ve obey Him!

I believe society will improve, when women become the women, that the Qur'an wants them to be.

"I started wearing 'modern' hijab, but I still didn't feel modest.
I started wearing looser skirts and dresses, but it didn't please me.
I switched to khimar and jilbab, but still I wasn't satisfied.
I now wear Niqab and, Wallahi, Allah is my witness, I still don't feel covered enough when I leave the house.

I came to the conclusion that the only way I would feel modest enough and content with my covering, is staying at home where no one will see me regardless of how I dress. All my life I tried to cover more and more to please Allah, and I only reached this goal when I refrained from leaving the house except when necessary."

I have been convinced so many times that everything for which you once left the commands and prohibitions of Allah,will sooner or later betray you, leave you at the most needed moment. And vice versa, everything that you left for the sake of Allah, obeying His orders and prohibitions, will raise you and honour you, even if at the moment of abandoning them you experienced difficulties. Only He will accept you with repentance, with your problems and in which ever state you are in. How merciful is He…
