Surrounded by a sea of blue and white, I can barely believe this is real. The iconic World Series trophy glints in his hands, and I feel a surge of pride and awe. My husband, is one of a World Series Champions, and I’m here to witness it, to celebrate with him, to share in this moment that will forever be a part of our lives. I hold Decoy, our sweet, spirited dog, dressed up proudly in his little Dodgers jersey. Even he seems to sense the importance of the day, looking around with curious eyes, taking in the excitement in the air. From atop the parade bus, we look out over the streets of Los Angeles, and the view takes my breath away. In the third photo, My Husband and I are standing together while confetti floats down like tiny sparks of light, and the crowd below is a sea of joy and celebration, all for this Dodgers team that has inspired a city. For times, he turns to me with a smile that reaches his eyes, a smile that holds years of hard work, late nights, endless determination, and a love for the game that has never wavered. It’s surreal, almost as if time has stopped, and all I can feel is a deep, overwhelming feeling. I think about everything that brought us here, the late night training sessions, grueling seasons, challenges he faced, and strength it took to overcome them. He’s shown me what it truly means to be resilient, and I am so proud to be by his side, supporting him, cheering for him, and of course to loving him. ??
