As someone who has been studying abroad, I’d say please have at least basic foundation in your deen before you go abroad to study. I know one guy who says: “Shakhzod, men yarim xristian yarim musulmonman. Musulmonlar orasida musulmon. Xrustianlar orasida proud Christian”. And the other coursemate from bangladesh recently converted from islam to christian. He says that christian felt more meaningful and true as he started reading bible. When I ask whether he’s read Quran before, he says no.
Hold on to your deen guys. It’s so sad to hear that.
