Pan was known for his mischievous nature and his ability to instill sudden, irrational fear in humans, especially those who wandered alone in the wilderness. This fear, often experienced by travelers or soldiers, became known as "panic" after Pan. So, whenever you feel a sudden rush of fear, you can thank (or blame) the ancient Greek god Pan for the term!

Was a monster in Greek mythology. He was famous in legend for having many eyes. With his multiple sets of eyes, he could see nearly everything in his vicinity. And indeed, with his keen vision, Argus was regarded as almost perfect mythology guard creature.
