It is not acceptable for anyone to mock Jesus (PBUH) under any circumstances. Even if what they base the mockery on happens to be Christian iconography, as is the case with the Olympic ceremony in Paris.

People aren't ready for the sheer numbers of people reverting to Islam right now, or seriously considering it. Whereas before I would seldom hear of anyone entertaining the idea, in recent years it has become common. It has reached a point where people I know will suddenly express interest, or a drunk stranger will pull me aside because I'm wearing a qamis and start telling me how they think Islam might be the truth.

It is easy for a person to be demoralized seeing so much suffering nowadays, but it's moments like these that remind you Allah has things in store which you could never imagine.
