We confirm that this crime is intended to spread fear and force Palestinians to leave their homes.

Hamas chief sends urgent appeal to UN secretary-general

Head of Hamas political bureau Ismail Haniyeh has penned a letter to the United Nation’s secretary-general to brief him on the brutal Israeli occupation crimes in the Gaza Strip.

Haniyeh explained that the Israeli atrocities amount to war crimes and are flagrant violations of international law and Geneva covenants.

He also pointed to the barbaric Israeli siege imposed on the Gaza Strip, as the Israeli occupation is banning entry of humanitarian aid and medical supplies to the Gaza Strip.

Haniyeh urged the UN secretary-general to pressure the Israeli occupation into letting humanitarian aid into Gaza.

Israeli occupation’s threats to target Palestinian hospitals amount to war crime

By targeting hospitals, the Israeli occupation insists to perpetrate more atrocious crimes and massacres against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The latest example of these crimes was asking the medical staff in Owda hospital, northern Gaza Strip, to leave and entirely evacuate the hospital, which is nothing but a civilian facility that should be protected under the international humanitarian law.

The Israeli occupation’s order to empty hospitals amid escalating war against Gaza emphasize its criminal schemes to deprive Palestinians of basic and urgent humanitarian needs—it is a war crime, as per international law.

The Israeli massacre against displaced families is a heinous crime that will only increase our people’s adherence to their land

The horrific massacre committed by the Israeli occupation against the displaced members of our Palestinian people in the steadfast Gaza Strip, which claimed the lives of 70 martyrs, including children and women, and more than 200 wounded, the massacre reveals the extent of Israeli lies, misleading and deception, after the Israeli suspicious calls for our people to leave their homes. They were directly targeted by committing a heinous crime that will remain a testament to Zionist terrorism and aggression.

As the open war of annihilation carried out by the Israeli occupation against our people in the steadfast Gaza Strip continues, we in the Hamas movement affirm that these systematic crimes and violations, covered by the American and Western complicity and bias, and the policy of double standards in their dealings with our just cause and the legitimate rights, this war will not succeed in Breaking the will of our people who stand united with their resistance, rejecting all forms of displacement from their land.
