Members of the Werewolf Legion participated in the Yugoslav wars (on the side of Croats), but in Transnistrian War as well (on the side of Moldova). In Croatia, they participated in the battle of Vukovar, in an "Ustaša detachment" [probably HOS battalion], then in fighting in Krajina and a bit in Bosnia.

Russian Werewolf Legion was a nationalsocialist group founded in March, 1994 by Igor Pirozhok, Viktor Baranov and Valery Starchikov, although the core of the group was formed in 1993. The group was strongly Hitlerian, pagan and anti-euroasianist, it rejected slavism and adopted the faith of Rus-Varangians, the Germanic pagan faith. The group also maintained regular contacts with Ukrainian nationalists from UNA-UNSO and with Croatian nationalists. Werewolf Legion also planned to carry out terrorist attacks, against, most notable, the Democratic Union, the Russian Communist Workers' Party, Jews for Jesus, and many more.
