???⚓️ - Pakistan's Islamabad High Court (IHC) has stayed the execution of five ex-Navy officers who were previously sentenced to death through a general court martial decree.

The sentenced ex-Navy officers were purportedly planning to hijack the Pakistani warship PNS Zulfiqar to use it in an attack on the US navy’s patrol vessels & warships sailing in the Indian ocean. The attack occurred on 6 Sept, 2014 where two were killed and five others were apprehended by security personnel.

These five officers also facilitated armed group militants by transporting weapons into the Dockyard.

"Everyone is aware of the situation on the border and across the border, even the region is in turmoil and the situation is worsening by the day. Since it’s the domain of National Security, I have offered them to sit along with us so we begin talks with those who are in-charge across the border [Afghanistan].

Under the current circumstances when there are no talks between both sides, attacks have begun even in urban Sindh province. If the wave of violence has not reached Punjab it is due to the sacrifices of our security forces and police. Once this phenomenon infiltrates into our border, it moves towards the cities, we have witnessed increased number of attacks in Tank and Dera Ismail Khan districts, if the police do not combat and act as a protective shield, there is Bhakkar, Dera Ghazi Khan and Mianwali of Punjab province.

Terrorists have infiltrated till Mardan and Swabi districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It’s just Taxila and Wah Cantt till they reach Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The Federal Government should think it throughly that this phenomenon of terrorism will not only limit itself to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. People of KP complain that our blood is of a different hue or is our life not important, they are right. Because we have asked for an increased police force, which is denied. The 1% of war on terror surcharge has not been given to the province."

????️ ~ Imran Khan’s party (PTI) Chief Minister in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province while commenting on the increasing wave of militant attacks said that although National Security is not within the domain of the province “Negotiations” are the only way forward and we should not be part of someone else’s war.

He was speaking at a press conference in Peshawar. “Whatever we have done before has not yielded any results but rather we have suffered” he added, “all stakeholders of national security should sit together, debate the subject and come up with an across the board solution”

????️ ~ Imran Khan’s party government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has once again put forward the proposal to engage in negotiations with the Pakistani Taliban.

"We must consider the possibility of dialogue if terrorists are willing to renounce terrorism. The situation must be approached realistically. Lives are being lost on both sides, and the only way to halt this is to pursue peaceful means. This does not imply any form of surrender to the terrorists. Talks will only proceed if they agree to respect the Pakistani state and constitution. Members of the TTP have been in contact with me, discussing their issues. At times, when the TTP has issues with the Pakistan army, they communicate it through me," - stated Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, Advisor to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information.

?????? ~ During the recent visit of the Iranian President to Pakistan, both countries reached a mutual agreement to deploy security officials in each other's countries. The decision was made to enhance cooperation on bilateral security matters.
