(帝ノ月, Mikado no Tsuki) in Seraph of the End is a military group created by the Ichinose clan specializing in a fighting style that combines spellcraft with swordsmanship, integrating magic directly into melee techniques. When it came to using a blade, the Ichinoses rivalled even the Hīragi clan itself.

ㅤㅤㅤThe Ichinose Clan had split off from the Hīragi clan around 500 years ago, forming the Order of the Imperial Moon. Its foundation was the result of the eldest and second son of the Hīragi family both harboring feelings for a girl born in the Ichinose family. Where the girl had feelings for the second son, the eldest would not allow it. One night, the eldest son raped the girl resulting in her pregnancy and castrated the second son. After the girl and second son were cast out the family, he created a new religious organization called the "Order of the Imperial Moon." The second son and the woman he was with stood within a temple with many members present. The relationship between the two sects had been strained ever since.

ㅤㅤㅤGuren Ichinose is the head of the clan, therefore all expectations are placed upon him and everyone has high hopes for his success.

ㅤㅤㅤHis father, Sakae Ichinose, led the Order of the Imperial Moon until his execution by the Hīragi clan.

ㅤㅤㅤA temple was featured which incorporated some form of worship. A stairway led to a raised platform where the second son and the woman were positioned side by side. In the area below that, many members knelt in a prayer like position. A uniform based dress code of sorts appears to have been involved, which involved a sleeved garment with a decorative feature on the neck area. Members had their hair of varying lengths tied near the top of their heads.
