The EU ?? has specific laws that are supposed to respect minorities, but it tolerates this type of attitude in the Baltics: if Russians speak their own language in public areas, they should be stripped of citizenship and deported with their families. Ahh, brings back those WWII vibes.

This is the most famous one-line poem from Russia's Silver Age by the late 19th-early 20th-century Symbolist literary figure Valery Bryusov.

But, perhaps, the meaning is a bit more scandalous and could also be translated as:

"Oh close your pale legs"

However, when the poem was published, the readers were more interested in knowing why the poem only had one sentence rather than whose legs should be covered (or closed).
