The company aims to raise USD12 million from its IPO by selling three million shares priced at USD4 per share.

Tesla has begun scouting sites for a proposed $3 billion EV car plant. This decision comes after a recent decision for India to lower import tariffs on EVs which happened on 15 Mar, and has also committed to invest at least $500 million to start setting up manufacturing plants in the country.

The move follows a meeting Musk had with Indian prime minister in June last year where he state that he wishes to invest in Indian "as soon as humanly possible".

Setting up a factory in India could be seen as Tesla's way of competing with competitors in the region such as BYD who are posing increasingly tight competition to Tesla's EV dominance.

During an operation by the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB), 36 people who are suspected of committing drug offences were arrested on 2 Apr 2024. It suspected that two drug traffickers were among those that were arrested.

The suspects were communicating over Telegram to facilitate their drug deals and discuss pick up spots.

The drugs that were seized included 333g of cannabis, 65 vapes containing THC, 113g of ice and more.

Cambodian national Su Wenqiang, the first person to be sentenced in Singapore’s largest money laundering case, will be deported after his release from prison.

The 32-year-old was sentenced to 13 months’ jail on April 2 after pleading guilty to two money laundering charges, becoming the first of 10 foreigners to be convicted over a probe that saw more than $3 billion in cash and assets seized.

3 individuals were caught by the …

3 individuals were caught by the Land Transport Authority during enforcement operations for providing illegal car and motorcycle pooling services.

Each of the individuals were fined $1,800 and slapped with a 1-year driving ban.

The LTA previously released statements that motorcycles were not allowed to be used to convey passengers for hire and reward. Car-pooling is also only allowed through licensed business platforms and other license-exempt business platforms.

On March 26, Singapore-flagged container ship, the Dali lost propulsion as it was leaving port causing it to collide with the Baltimore bridge leading to a complete collapse.

A search is currently on going for survivors of the incident, as six of the eight people who were on the bridge at the time of the collision remain unaccounted for. All 22 crew members of the Dali are safe and accounted for.

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) has stated that it has offered it's assistance to the relevant authorities in the US and that investigator form Singapore's Transport Safety Investigation Bureau and MPA are going to Baltimore to support investigations.
