The National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) collaborated with the Kampong Thom Provincial Department of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (DISTI) in organizing a workshop on "Sharing knowledge and consulting on good hygiene practices and good production in the food sector for MSMEs, with an assessment on the challenges and technological needs in processing cashew nut products in MSMEs " on November 6, 2024 at the Kampong Thom DISTI.

On October 28, 2024, CamTech University welcomed a delegation from the University of New South Wales, one of Australia’s prestigious Group of Eight (Go8) universities. Prof. Chhem Kieth Rethy, distinguished professor of Arts and Humanities at CamTech, presented the university’s innovative educational model, highlighting its focus on entrepreneurship, employability, and sustainable development across undergraduate and graduate programs.

The UNSW delegation expressed keen interest in collaboration and admiration for Cambodia’s rich cultural heritage, historical depth, and strategic role in the region. Both institutions proposed a long-term, comprehensive partnership, prioritizing areas such as the intersection of science, technology, and socio-economic progress, along with capacity-building initiatives for Cambodian students and staff.
