NOT A LEAF FALLS EXCEPT HE HAS KNOWLEDGE OF IT | Shaykh Ahmad bin Musa A̅l-Jibril (حفظه الله تعالى)

In this beautiful reminder, Shaykh Ahmad puts into perspective the benefits when one ponders over the infinite Knowledge of Allah.

May Allah reward the Shaykh, protect him, and increase him in knowledge and goodness, and unite him with his loved ones upon Khayr in this life, and in the Akhirah beneath the throne of Allah.

Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "The good deeds of any person will not make him enter Paradise." (i.e., None can enter Paradise through his good deeds.) They (the Prophet's companions) said, 'Not even you, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?' He said, "Not even myself, unless Allah bestows His favor and mercy on me." So be moderate in your religious deeds and do the deeds that are within your ability: and none of you should wish for death, for if he is a good doer, he may increase his good deeds, and if he is an evil doer, he may repent to Allah."

Dispraise of Lying:

Ibn al-Jawzī رحمه الله said:

“The cure of this disease is to know Allāh's punishment for a liar and to be certain that when a person continuously lies he will eventually be exposed one day, then he will be disrespected in such a way that cannot be averted; his shame will increase, earn people's disrespect to the extent that they will not believe him even when he is truthful, and their distrust will exceed beyond what he lied about.”

The Four Golden Rules Guidelining a Believer's Life!

1) When Allah bestows His bounty and grace upon the righteous, they give and show gratitude for it, thereafter Allah will increase it. Any bounty and blessings you show thankfulness and gratitude for, Allah will increase it without any limitations!

That's a rule - The more you thank Him, the more He blesses and increases it for you instantly and continously, while the gratitude is there similarly the increase and blessing of it will remain, it's an equal balance between the two.

2) If Allah inflicts His believing slave with any calamity or catastrophe, the slave will bare patiently with a beautiful patience.

This is a rule, there is no catastrophe except that it comes with a bounty from Allah along with it - sometimes visible to us and other times not, but the bounty is always there. If the veil of the knowledge of the unseen were to be removed, the slave would always choose and love what Allah has decreed for him, because there is only goodness which comes from Allah.

3) If the believer commits a sin - which every son of Adam is tempted towards - then he repents continously and sincerly, Allah will forgive him. Every son of Adam sins but the best of those who sin are those who repent. So the slave humbles himself before Allah, seeking the pleasure of Allah he sincerely repents and makes istighfaar. In addition, he shows gratitude to Allah for guiding him to repentance!

This is a rule, Allah loves those who continously repent and purify themselves. What does that tell you? It doesn't matter how many times you fall but how you turn back to Him!

Contemplate the happiness of a man who is travelling with all of his belongings on his camel (commute) with him, all of a sudden that camel gets lost. Out of devastation and desperation the man lies down awaiting for death to overcome him. Suddenly the camel returns back to him, out of happiness the man exclaimed, "O Allah, I am your Lord and you are my slave," when he was supposed to say, "O Allah You are my Lord and I am Your slave!" But because of his joy, happiness and exhilaration he mistakenly said the opposite. Allah is more happy and more pleased than that man when he hears His slave sincerely repent.

4) If the Muslim is tolerant towards his brother and forigivng of his brother's shortcomings, that is the one who is strongest in faith and belief, you always find them tolerating because they know not an atom's weight of good goes unnoticed by Allah! On the other hand, the weak in faith and belief are intolerant.

This is a rule, whosoever shows humility and humbleness for the sake of Allah, Allah will elevate his status. Whosoever forgives for the sake of Allah, Allah will increase his honour. Such a believer (the forgiving and tolerant) is always the winner - in this life and the next.

Allah won't let the people go the way they are until He tests them to distinguish between the wicked and the good, the righteous and the evil. This is the way of Allah, Allah cannot disclose to you the matters of the unseen, He has kept that only for Himself! You will be happiest when you submit to Allah with complete submission and accept His rules and commands with full acceptance.

Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah) said:

**The Quran is a healing for what is in the chests and for whoever has the diseases of doubts and lusts in his heart.

The Quran removes those diseases that bring about evil desires until the heart becomes sound, thereby making its intentions sound.

It (the heart) then returns to its natural state in which it was created like a body returns to its natural healthy state.

The heart is fed with faith and the Quran purifies it and supports it like a body is fed with what makes it grow and strengthens it.

The growth and purification of the heart is like the growth of the body.**
