Good evening everyone,

Over the past nearly three weeks, the NFTBOOKS community on Telegram has experienced some regrettable disturbances. For whatever reason, as CEO of the project, I, Chau sincerely apologize to everyone for these incidents.

I will not mention the reasons since they are due to many factors; I also will not judge who is right or wrong because I am the main responsible party, so I will take full responsibility for these events.

I just want to briefly revisit the development process of NFTBOOKS; I took on the responsibility of developing the NFTBOOKS project in late December 2021 (which was also when NFTBS reached its ATH); after that, the market gradually entered a bear phase. We spent most of our time and resources on completing the NFTBOOKS platform to be able to mainnet as expected. By the time we mainnetted in February 2023, to date, we have had 11,835 users, 74 authors approved to operate on the platform (175 requests to become an author were submitted) and over 27,595 books have been sold directly by authors to users.

Going through a Bearmarket for such a time has depleted our resources as we start into this year's Bullrun. Therefore, to be able to sustain and carry out NFTBOOKS' next plans, we must seek funding to list on exchanges, for marketing, to launch Socii, and upgrade the publishing features of NFTBOOKS. As previously stated, to secure funds for listing on MEXC, we sent some tokens from the developer's wallet to the Apebond platform to raise capital, however, it did not meet our expectations; to be proactive, Mr. Allan and I have been continuously contacting two top 3 Australian exchanges, Coinspot (coinspot.com.au) and swyftx.com, for a reasonable listing fee; additionally, we are in the process of negotiating with a Swiss investment fund; this negotiation process is ongoing, and due to confidentiality agreements between both parties, we cannot disclose details until the contract is officially signed by both. We have informed the community about these things, but many people, lacking patience, still think we are doing nothing; even those who were once community leaders mock us when a wallet sells; I was wrong to tag the wallet's owner, but do not assume that it is us selling; this is completely untrue. Because our company has an accountant, we have annual financial reports; if there are any income from token sales, they must be declared according to Australian law.
