Difference between acute and chronic leukemia
Acute Leukemia
1. Sudden onset, severe symptoms
2. Immature cells (blasts) in bone marrow and blood
3. Rapid progression
4. Aggressive treatment (chemo, radiation, transplant)

6. Types: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)
Chronic Leukemia
1. Gradual onset, mild symptoms
2. Mature cells in bone marrow and blood
3. Slower progression
4. Targeted therapies (e.g., tyrosine kinase inhibitors)
5. Better prognosis than acute leukemia
