? 200 years ago, on 4 September 1824, the composer Anton Bruckner, perhaps the greatest organ player of all time, was born in Ansfelden in Upper Austria. He was a perfect example of a modest, hard-working man of duty. Bruckner grew up in an insistent-persevere environment of life, which – however – was still creative in him, why he was by no means backward but rather original.

? He was a post-Gothic composer with the orchestral language of his century, in which a folkish-artistic will of mystical romanticism found expression. He transferred the Nibelung style to the symphony. The Fourth Symphony in E flat major, named „The Romantic“, is probably Anton Bruckner's most popular symphony alongside the Seventh.

? On 6 June 1937, the bust of Anton Bruckner was established in the Gallery of Honour at the Walhalla near Regensburg. The laudatory speech was given by Reich Minister Dr Joseph Goebbels. In Wels in Austria and Straubing in Lower Bavaria, there are also two academic high schools today that bear Anton Bruckner's name. I graduated from the latter more than 30 years ago...

? A suspected Syrian allegedly raped a 12-year-old girl in an open-air swimming pool in Braunschweig/Germany. That incident happened around three weeks ago – however, the investigation into the case has not been made public by the authorities.

? The police only took the alleged perpetrator's personal data and, after that, allowed him to leave. Up to now, NO measures, such as custody or detention, have yet been ordered against the Syrian.

? Peter Hofmann was a German opera and rock singer (1944 - 2010) who would have celebrated his 80th birthday this August. The sporty artist was also a decathlete and a paratrooper with the rank of staff sergeant.

Peter Hofmann was particularly well known for his Wagner roles, which he performed at the world's most famous opera houses. „In fernem Land, unnahbar euren Schritten“ from Lohengrin's Grail narration in the performance at the Bayreuth Festival in 1982 is one of the unforgettable memories of Peter Hofmann. Lohengrin is a romantic opera by Richard Wagner, premiered on 28 August 1850 under the direction of Franz Liszt.

? No less marvellous is Peter Hofmann's performance of the old English folk song „Scarborough Fair“ with his wife, the American opera singer Deborah Sasson.

At least that is what the joint performance from 1998 might suggest, and it is impressive proof of Pavarotti's almost incomprehensible quality.

**?Luciano Pavarotti (1935 - 2007) is recognised beyond the boundaries of opera and classical music as one of the most important tenors of all time. According to the exceptional conductor Herbert von Karajan, who achieved world fame, Pavarotti was a tenor of the century, a voice that only comes around once every 100 years. In 1993, Pavarotti gave a concert in New York's Central Park in front of an audience of no less than 500,000**, making it the best-attended classical concert ever by a solo artist.

EU Election Analysis: Rightward Shift without Real Change

❗️EUROPEAN ELECTIONS NO (!) REAL NATIONALIST SUCCESS...

☝️Although the elections were extremely sobering for genuine nationalist formations, I am nevertheless glad NOT to have given my vote to the AfD, which in my opinion is NOT at all an alternative, as the chopping of its own candidates like, for example, Dr. Maximilian Krah, among others, proves!
Marine Le Pen's past behaviour also makes me doubt whether the 31.37% of the Rassemblement national can be celebrated effusively. I am happiest about the FPÖ's election victory, but even 25.7% is no revolution.
Anyone looking at some of the European results on the political right alongside the 17.7% of the PVV in the Netherlands and the 22% of the Latvian Nacionālā apvienība should not overestimate the „weight of opposition“...?

The Flemish still put down a secessionist marker with Vlaams Belang (13.86%) & Nieuw-Vlaamse Alliantie (13.37%), otherwise the results were largely limited: Vazrazhdane (14.56%), Dansk Folkeparti (6.4%), Perussuomalaiset (7.6%), La France fière (5.47%), Ellinikí Lýsi (9.3%), Lega Salvini Premier (9.04%), Domovinski pokret (8.82%), Latvija pirmajā vietā (6.16%), Nacionalinis susivienijimas (3.79%), Konfederacja (12.08%), CHEGA (9.79%), Alianța pentru Unirea Românilor (15%), Sverigedemokraterna (13.2%), Republika (12.53%), Slovenska ljudska stranka (7.23%), Vox (9.62%), SPD a Trikolora (5.73%), Mi Hazank (6.76%), Ethnikó Laikó Métopo (11.19%)... one would have hoped for more from some of them!

?Not even 60 members in the ID group and 73 in the ECR out of 720 MEPs do NOT give any real hope that the ‘EU castration parliament’ will bring about change in the engine room of European politics.

☝️NETZWORKING, COMMUNITY BUILDING, ALTERNATIVE MEDIA ACTIVITIES AND AN OWN GARDEN STILL (OR MORE THAN EVER) REMAIN AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THE NATIONALIST STRATEGY FOR THE FUTURE!
