Abū Bakr Al-Marrūdhī said:

“I said to Abū ʿAbdillāh [Al-Imām Aḥmad]: ‘Whoever dies upon Islām and the Sunnah, has he died upon good?’ He said to me: ‘Be quiet! Whoever dies upon Islām and the Sunnah has died upon all good.’”

Al-Imām Mālik [d. 179 AH] was diligent in educating his wives and daughters in Fiqh.

Yaḥyā bin Yaḥyā Al-Laythī [d. 234 AH] – may Allāh have mercy on him – said: “We would enter upon Mālik – may Allāh have mercy on him – (in the gathering of knowledge) and he would seat his family members behind the curtain, in a place where they could hear the discourse. It would occur to us that he intended this so they would gain knowledge.”
