We, the University of Gondar  Internal Medicine residents, would like to take this moment to express our deepest gratitude and admiration for one of our giant seniors, Dr. Workagnehu Hailu, a distinguished Consultant Nephrologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Gondar (UOG), for his exceptional contributions to the field of medicine.

His unwavering commitment to patient care, relentless pursuit of knowledge, and passion for advancing medical practice have left a lasting and profound impact on countless lives. Dr. Workagnehu’s expertise, empathy, and tireless dedication to the well-being of his patients have set an exemplary standard in the medical community. Meet Dr. Muluken Tesfaye Asnake, a gold medalist and a graduate of the 40th batch of Medicine from the University of Gondar's College of Medicine and Health Sciences.

He achieved an impressive cumulative GPA of 3.887 in 2017 E.C. (2025 G.C.), an exceptional academic achievement at Gondar Medical College. Such a high GPA is a rare accomplishment in the field of medicine at the institution.
