**Dear Lord,

As we prepare for this day...

Help us reject the spirit of fear.

To claim the Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind.

Help us preach the Gospel in these last days.

Give us a sense of urgency, anticipation, and evangelism as we await the upward call.

May we persevere as we listen for the shout, for the voice of the archangel,

And for the trumpet call of God.

Dear Lord, give us patience and give us power.

Give us strength

Be On Guard

No matter where Paul ministered, his greatest concern was to preach the gospel of Christ, and so we discover that in Ephesus as elsewhere, Paul preached boldly in public places and went from house to house testifying to Jew and Gentile alike, of the need of repentance towards God and faith towards the Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul was deeply concerned for the spiritual well~being of all people. The danger into which he placed himself in his endeavour was of little concern to himself. And so Paul did not deliver a sugar~coated gospel that tickled the ears of the people. Paul preached the whole counsel of God so that he could stand unashamed before the Lord, knowing that he had fought a good fight, he had kept the faith, and finished the good work that God had prepared for him to do.

But he also knew that after his departure savage wolves would enter the Church and not spare God's little flock, and so he encouraged the elders in Ephesus (just as he urges church~leaders today), to stand firm in the faith, to guard their spiritual well~being, to care for God's people, and to feed the flock of God. And they were also exhorted to shepherd the Body of Christ which is the Church, reminding them (and us) that we were purchased with His own precious blood on Calvary's Cross.

This was the last time that Paul was to see his brothers and sisters in Ephesus, but his warning is as pertinent today as it was when he bid these dear believers farewell. Many wolves have indeed scattered the flock of God. False teachers have indeed tickled the ears of many. Many doctrines of demons have similarly infiltrated the heart of Christendom. But Christ continues to build His Church, often in secret and often without our knowledge, but Paul's admonition still stands today that we guard our hearts, stand firm in the faith, and take heed of the whole counsel of God, not only on our own account but in order to protect those whom God has chosen to place in our care.

Let us pray for those that are overseers in local churches and shepherds in the Body of Christ today, that each one may take to heart this important command to be on their guard for their own spiritual well~being, and to take responsibility for protecting all the flock of God with sound doctrine and a disciplined life. Let us pray that they guard their own hearts as well as guiding and shepherding the Church of God, which our Saviour, Jesus Christ purchased with His own precious blood, 2000 years ago.

🙏 🎗️ Another video was released yesterday of one of the hostages "Sasha". He has now had to spend his second birthday in captivity. He is one of the 101 hostages held captive by the various terrorist organizations. He appears to be still alive, but is in bad mental and physical condition, due to skin disease, poor hygiene, deprivation of food and water. Lord, please be close to Sasha today and all the hostages and their families. Give them strength for today and liberation for the future. Why didn't Hamas release them? Then all the misery would not have come. Someone said: it's not "Bring them home now", but "Release them now"! The ball is in Hamas' court.
🙏 It is terrible to see civilians suffer. To see houses and infrastructure being shot to pieces because of the war. We see that Israel is doing everything it can to make as few victims as possible. The citizens are warned in advance when they bomb. What is the solution? Lord, we no longer see a solution and yet we believe that you are above it. We do not understand it. Lord, do you also want to protect the citizens in Gaza and Lebanon and deliver them from terrorism.
What is the tactic of the terrorist organizations? - Instilling fear and intimidation.
- Using citizens as human shields - Creating tunnel systems, by investing enormously in going underground, money that was intended for reconstruction for the citizens.
- Terrorist infrastructure and weapons among the population, in hospitals and schools, among others. - Long-term hostage-taking operations, (also in 1979, Iran held many American hostages in the embassy for more than 400 days)
- Media influence by showing lies, genocide and all victims are women and children. Initiating a flow of refugees to influence public opinion. - Stealing emergency aid/food from citizens and selling food for high prices.
- Applying ‘hit and run’ tactics. Like on October 7, but also on a small scale in Amsterdam. - Attracting negative attention.
🙏 Lord, please protect the leaders who have such a great responsibility, give them a lot of wisdom. We pray for that.
🙏 People are now talking about a ceasefire in Lebanon in the foreseeable future. Due to the American election results, there has been a partial shift and they want to seize the momentum. Iran suddenly has a different way of talking, or postponing a counterattack and even talking that they do not want a nuclear program... Do you believe it?
In the meantime, unfortunately, war is being waged.

**He Will Wipe Away Every Tear.....

So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. — John 16:22

For Christians, all suffering has an expiration date. No matter how dark our days may seem, the Bible teaches that all grief will come to an end and will be replaced with eternal peace and gladness. In the book of Revelation, the apostle John wrote,

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. — Revelation 21:4

Father, I thank You that because of Jesus a time is coming when all trials and suffering will come to an end.

Until that day, empower me to persevere through my trials and anticipate the joy and peace that awaits all believers in Jesus Christ.

So what's it mean?

We ARE NOT a Religion! .....

We ARE a Relationship! (So Much Better!)

*CHRISTIANITY is not about signing up for a religion. Christianity is about being born into the family of God (John 3:3).

It is a RELATIONSHIP!

Just as an adopted child has no power to create an adoption, we have no power to join the family of God by our own efforts.

We can only accept His invitation to know Him as Father through adoption (Ephesians 1:5; Romans 8:15).

When we join His family through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus, the Holy Spirit comes to live inside our hearts (1 Corinthians 6:19; Luke 11:13; 2 Corinthians 1:21–22).

He then empowers us to live like children of the King.

He does not ask us to try to attain holiness by our own strength, as religion does.

He asks that our old self be crucified with Him so that His power can live through us (Galatians 2:20; Romans 6:6).

God wants us to KNOW Him, to DRAW NEAR to Him, to PRAY to Him, and LOVE Him above everything.

That is not religion; that is a Relationship.
