To be prideful is to live in darkness separated from God, and it destroys our path to salvation.
Jesus says that “pride” is one of the many “evil things that come from within and defile a man.” (Mark 7:21-23). “By pride comes nothing but strife.”

Let it be that the only ‘Pride’ we celebrate is being called the children of God, and that we live everyday by his word to be the light of the world that removes the darkness.

We pray for all the lost souls, that they offer their suffering to the foot of the cross instead of celebrating their sins.

Archbishop Fulton Sheen said, "Pride is an admission of weakness; it secretly fears all competition and dreads all rivals."

Jesus I trust in you 🙏

For the sake of the children

Good afternoon everyone,

On Friday the 8th of December 2023, The Faithful Alliance met with @aflsolicitors, whereby it was established upon advice that there is grounds for a arguable case.

This could be an important test case for Catholic parents all over Australia. Given the way everything is heading, it is important that we as parents take a stand for not only our own children, but the children of the Catholic faith everywhere.

We ask you to please pray sincerely on this and turn it over to God, and if you feel called to assist, please follow his guidance.

As we come to the end of 2023, we would like to thank everyone for their trust and support. We hope and pray that the unity we have formed will continue to grow and prosper in 2024 for the sake of the children. God bless you all 🙏

If we don’t stand up for our own children, who will?

Good morning everyone,

So after a week of numerous emails and phone calls of complaints and requests from parents for a meeting with the school principal, a ambiguous letter gets sent to the year 12 parents with no explanation to the concerned parents.

Yet the students and their parents wanting to bring a ‘same sex’ couple to the formal had a meeting last week with the school and were able to have the decision overturned.
Both are school fee paying parents who entered into a contract with Sydney Catholic schools, why is one side getting preferred over another?

The Faithful Alliance Organisation did receive a response from a Catholic representative who
has a voice and influence in our community, and the response was ‘a media statement or public campaign is not appropriate and can do more damage than good’…

So was it appropriate when churches and schools publicly :
- campaigned and encouraged The Voice?
- Celebrated pride month with display of rainbow flags in schools?
- Put on a school musical with two male students playing the role of a same sex couple?
- encouraged the covid vaccine and enforced mask wearing in churches and schools?
And the list goes on…

It seems our church leaders and schools pick and choose when it’s appropriate to publicly address something for their own benefit, while forgetting the needs of the people and adhering to our catholic faith.

We will continue to work with the parents of St Ursula’s and give them the support they need, and we will continue putting pressure on Sydney Catholic Schools to take accountability and address the parents and to consider putting proper guidelines for Catholic School formals to avoid this situation in the future.

Thank you to everyone that has sent in emails. Don’t give up or feel defeated, we might not have gotten the result we wanted, but the parents standing up for their children and our faith is a win itself.
We need to continue to grow this community and stand in unity whatever obstacles come our way.

Wishing all the year 12 students at St Ursula’s an amazing formal tonight, despite all the drama leading up to it they deserve to celebrate their years of schooling.

Sydney Catholic Schools have not yet addressed the parents of St Ursula’s explaining why the decision to reverse the ban on ‘same sex’ couples attending the year 12 formal was made, despite numerous requests.

The many parents who support the ban and have daughters attending the formal this Thursday are entitled to an explanation.

The Faithful Alliance Orginsation has one again today written to Sydney Catholic Schools requesting a statement be made to the parents of St Ursula’s Kingsgrove.

We need the support of the parents to keep the pressure on Sydney Catholic Schools.
