JICA has started accepting applications to Japanese universities under the "Universal Health Care" program

JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) is announcing a competition for candidates interested in obtaining doctoral degrees at Juntendo University within the framework of the "Universal Health Care" program in the field of medicine. The educational program consists of four years of doctoral studies.

All educational expenses, travel to and from Japan, a monthly stipend, and other expenses will be covered by JICA.

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

1. Having a master's degree;
2. Be younger than forty (40) years old;
3. Excellent knowledge of English, having a TOEFL or IELTS certificate;
4. Citizenship: Republic of Uzbekistan.

🇺🇿 Did you know that in Uzbekistan, you can earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Sciences (DSc) degree by publishing articles in internationally recognized journals, without writing a traditional dissertation?

✅ A specialist who has published at least 6 scientific articles (4 in social and humanitarian sciences) in high-impact scientific journals that are indexed in international databases can be awarded a PhD degree.

✅ A specialist who has published at least 12 scientific articles (8 in social and humanitarian sciences) in scientific journals with a sufficiently high impact factor and indexed in internationally recognized databases, and has achieved significant scientific advancements, can be awarded a Doctor of Science (DSc) degree, provided that the requirements for implementing scientific results in practice are met.

CAU Representatives Engage in an Erasmus+ Conference

We are pleased to announce that on May 23-24, 2024, representatives from the CAU Research Center and Business School, Dr. Sardor Azam, Mrs. Janar Abuova, and Dr. Shoirakhon Odilova, actively participated in an Erasmus+conference and coordinators’ meeting hosted by Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute, our esteemed partner within the Erasmus+ Project EMPOWER.
The conference, centered around enlightening discussions, delved into case studies highlighting the inspiring life journeys and business experiences of six influential women entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan.

As the lead coordinator of the project, CAU conducted a coordinators’ meeting on the second day to discuss project working packages, implementation strategies, and outline future steps for progress. Esteemed representatives from consortium members, such as the Technical University of Dresden (Germany) and Varna University of Management (Bulgaria), as well as local universities from Tashkent, Namangan, and Bukhara, actively participated in the conference, enhancing the collaborative atmosphere.

We express our gratitude to the organizers and all participants for their valuable contributions and anticipate continued collaboration in our shared mission of knowledge and empowerment.
