FRIDAY REMINDER

From Aws bin Aws ath-Thaqafi who said I heard the Messenger of ﷺ saying:

'Whoever performs a perfect Ghusl on Friday then goes very early to the Khutbah, walking and not riding, sits close to the Imam, listens and does not speak or keep himself busy then for every step towards the Khutbah is the reward equivalent to a year of fasting and praying.'

[Collected by Ahmad, Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi & authenticated by Al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jama as-Sagheer' no. 6405]

Virtues Of Reciting Surah Kahf On Fridays

Rasulullah (صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said:

“The person who recites Surah Kahf on Fridays, a nur will appear for him from below the arsh as high as the skies. This light will help him in the darkness of the day of resurrection . And all the sins which he may have committed from the last Friday till this Friday will be forgiven . ”

(Sharh Sifrus-Sa’aadah)

The ulama have written that this Hadith refers to minor sins because major sins are not forgiven without making taubah.

Sometimes you're struggling with your low Eemaan, sometimes struggling with your family members and how to maintain better ties with them. This struggle at times shifts our concerns to those people who are destroying our mental peace, sometimes shift to those who are not giving us time.
And at the end of the day, we found ourselves in a state of dilemma on which struggle we need to prioritise over others.
We all know that the level of Sabr at different faces of struggle will be different too. But how long will I need to remain in this state of struggling?

It's a lifetime process akhwat!

Focus on your tools. Take your weapons. Sharp them. Hold them tightly. Be with pure determination and strive sincerely only for Allah.
Believe me, your efforts won't go to waste. HE will reward you on every inch of Sabr that you do on a daily basis.

?And a believer knows his tools very well.

The virtue of saying Alhamdulillahi Kathira

Narrated by Abu Hurairah {رضي الله عنه} the Prophet Sal-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam said once a man said

اَلْحَمْد لِلهِ كَثِيرًا
Alhamdulillahi Kathira

(All Praise is due to Allah , Abundant),
Angel felt heavy to write (its hasnat) so he went back to Allah regarding this matter , Allah said write (hasnat)for him as my slave said kathira (Abundant)

Short Description of The Funeral Prayer [Salāh Al-Janāzah] - Shaykh ‘Abdul-‘Azīz ibn Bāz

Say Takbīr four times:

First Takbīr: After the first Takbīr, one should seek refuge with Allāh from the accursed Shaytān. Then you say Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim and recite al-Fa‌tihah.

Second Takbīr: After the second Takbi‌r, one should send blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ just as one does so in the seated position of the Sala‌h [i.e. the Tashahud].

Third Takbīr: Then he should say the Takbi‌r for a third time, and make supplications for the deceased.

Fourth Takbīr: Then one should make the fourth Takbi‌r, and pause for a little while after which one says one Taslīm [Assalāmu ‘Alaykum wa Rahmatullāh] to the right [if following an Imām that does two Salāms then he follows the Imām].

- Raising the hands is recommended with each Takbīr.

The prohibition of fasting on the days of Tashriq

The Prophet ﷺ:

"The days of Tashriq (11th, 12th & 13th of Dhul Hijjah) are the days of eating and drinking and remembrance of Allāh."

Everything that is destined to reach you is being delayed because you’re not prepared for it yet. You may need to sacrifice a couple of bad habits and look at things in a different way. You might have to forgive some people in your heart, and finally bury the pains from the past. You might have to let some people go and realize your life can’t go on like this. Whatever it is, you just can’t receive anything from Allah without being prepared for it first. So never ever think that Allah doesn’t want to give it to you or whatever is destined for you isn’t coming. For it will arrive when Allah knows you are ready for it. ?

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) used to say:

« اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَحْسَنُوا اسْتَبْشَرُوا وَإِذَا أَسَاءُوا اسْتَغْفَرُوا »

(Allahumma-j'alni minal-ladhina idha ahsanu-istabsharu, wa idha asa'u istaghfaru)

"O Allah, make me one of those who, if they do good deeds, they rejoice, and if they do bad deeds, they seek forgiveness."
