Use this day to beg Allah from His mercy to grant you good health, ease, and success in this Life and the Next.

MashaAllah I was so touched by meeting the sisters who came to the Darussalam booth today.

Sha'baan is here!

That means Ramadan is right around the corner.

The Prophet Muhammad s.a.w said:

“It is a month that people tend to neglect, between the months of Rajab and Ramadan. It is a month in which deeds are raised to the Lord of the worlds, and I like my deeds to be raised while I am fasting.”

(Sunan An-Nasa’i)

We learn from the Prophet s.a.w. that this month is a golden opportunity to fast.

But we shouldn't stop there. We must increase in other acts of worship during the month of Sha'ban with the hope that we will be able to maximize our acts of worship in the month of Ramadan.

This is a short list of suggestions. Get busy in the good!

1. Make up your missed Ramadan fasts due to menstruation, lochia, or breastfeeding.

2. Increase in the time you make du'a after every fard prayer, especially with making du'a for the ummah!

3. Give in charity every Friday.

4. Clear your slate. Make tawba for any past wrongs and forgive those who may have wronged you.

5. Educate yourself about Ramadan!
