Okay, there was something wrong with the bot. After a few hours debugging, I came to the conclusion I just had to update 2 IDs in the database. The IDs which reference to the queue group in telegram. Seems like they changed and those changes were not picked up for some reason.
Anyway, in the process, the bot has had a few major version upgrades. So it was worth the time.

You probably did not know this, but a lot of channels are part of the UCT. UCT stands for United Channels of Telegram. This helps us to have a base set of rules we apply to all channels which are part of the UCT: Communicate in English only. No racism, explicit…

So far, there is only one non-UCT channel that uses @channelPostBot. Show this channel some love :)
