The status quo is a nightmare for average people, and Trump is the disrupter of the system that gave us this nightmare - consisting in foreign immigration/invasion, pointless foreign wars, DEI, inflation and other things. The collection of forces against Trump, the panic and hysteria they exhibit, makes this an obvious choice. Trump is a possibility of breaking out of the nightmare.
