New pre-release of Karbo 2 wallets is out. Those who want to try and check them out can download from https://github.com/Karbovanets/karbowanecwallet/releases/tag/v.2.0.0 .
These wallets are INCOMPATIBLE with [old] nodes of Karbo v. 1.x.x. In remote mode you should use these wallets only with Karbo 2 nodes which will be launched soon. For those who wants to launch Karbo 2 node use this pre-relsease https://github.com/Karbovanets/karbo/releases/tag/v.2.1.2 .
Karbo 2 nodes will work in parallel with Karbo 1 nodes for a while, eventually we will migrate to Karbo 2.

New version of official Karbo CLI suite v.1.6.3 and official Karbowanec GUI wallet v.1.3.3 released.

It has stability improvements and fixes for syncing issues experienced by some users. We encourage masternodes, pools, exchanges and other users to upgrade.

We disabled bugged merge mining transaction extra tag check. This doesn't mean we will not ban merged mining with Karbo, we will ban it in any form in the nearest planned hardfork.

The most important in this release is

The proof of transaction - instead of revealing transaction secret key you now can generate a signature that proves sending of funds to the given recepient address. It can be checked at our Explorer's Check payment page.
The proof of funds - this one is to fulfill and replace our roadmap promise of All seeing tracking wallets. Instead, we propose this solution. You can now issue the Balance proof to prove that you have at least the said amount, which also can be checked at our Explorer's special page.

We feel appropriate to mention that these features are based on Monero's solutions.

We released an optional update of Karbo CLI Suite v. 1.6.2 with Fusion transactions for simplewallet.

Now you can optimize your wallet fusing small outputs into fewer larger ones in simplewallet to be able to send large amounts in a single transaction without error "Transaction size is too big" as with smaller inputs count its size will be smaller. This might be useful for those who are receiving a lot of small payments.
