Hi guys! Today we are studying monophtongs in British pronunciation☕

These are vowel sounds with a single auditory quality in articulation, some are short, some are long the colon mark indicates that they are long

For example, we have "ee" in meet and "oo" in more, "uu" in boot👢 and "oo" in word. And the short ones are e’ lip🫦 and o’ in foot👣, e’ in met and a’ as in love ❤️
